What this service covers
Veterans across San Diego County rely on a network of VA facilities for primary care, specialty care, and mental health services. DayLight provides non-emergency transportation to the VA San Diego Healthcare System (La Jolla), the Mission Valley Outpatient Clinic, the Chula Vista Outpatient Clinic, the Oceanside CBOC, and every VA Community Care Network appointment across the county. We support ambulatory, wheelchair, and gurney-level rides - whatever the veteran and the appointment require.
We work with case managers, veteran service organizations, and families who want a reliable, respectful provider. When a ride is authorized by the VA Community Care Network, we coordinate the trip documentation and billing so the veteran is not stuck in the middle.
